Nice little hotel, rooms are very small though the location is absolutely perfect close to airport. The staff is very amiable and affable as well as venue's owner. The rooms are fully-equipped with a magnificent breakfast, so that guests have essentials. Want to say thanks very much for very enjoyable stay;)))
The bathrooms are too small.

I recently stayed for three nights at this historic gem while exploring the Hobart area. the cozy single barrack we occupied was perfectly equipped for comfort, boasting a lovely queen-sized bed and all the amenities we needed. Terry and Lynn were incredibly welcoming, providing us with a thoughtful basket of goodies upon arrival. the location was ideal—with easy access to charming Richmond and only a short drive to the airport. the antique furnishings added to the unique atmosphere, and the surrounding area offered plenty of dining options.
Can just recommend this hotel.

Our family had a delightful time exploring the nearby Sorell Fruit Farm and enjoying a round of fun at the Tasmania Golf Club. The fruit farm offered a hands-on experience that the kids absolutely loved, picking fresh berries and enjoying delicious homemade treats. The golf club provided a relaxed and scenic atmosphere for us to enjoy a friendly game together. It was a perfect mix of activities that kept everyone entertained throughout our stay.
My children wanted a play area or some outdoor space at the hotel for them to run around and play, which could have added more excitement to their stay.

The accommodation was in an old, quaint building with a lot of historic charm. the rooms were well-maintained and quiet, offering a peaceful and restful stay. the proximity to the airport and other popular locations like Richmond and Port Arthur was a huge advantage for exploring the area. the local pub served delicious meals, making dining out a pleasant experience.
There were a few aspects that could be improved upon. the narrow staircase leading to the upstairs rooms posed a potential safety concern and limited mobility for some guests.

low ceilings, awkward space
The location is convenient and close to the airport.
The doorways are pretty low. It’s hard to avoid hitting your head if you're tall.
